About Prairie Wildcraft
What We Do
Prairie Wildcraft supplies antlers and handcrafted antler art for flintknappers, carvers, collectors, and jewelry makers. We source shed antlers from the American West and prepare them in small batches so you get usable, consistent material—from tine tips and burrs to moose billets and finished hairpins.
Our Story
Prairie Wildcraft began on wide Wyoming prairie, sorting antlers for our sister brand, Chewy Pawz. Makers kept asking for the off-cuts we set aside—perfect for tools, handles, and statement pieces. We turned that demand into a focused supply: honest materials, responsibly gathered, prepared by hand.
Sourcing & Sustainability
- Wild-shed only: no antlers taken from harvested animals.
- Trusted regional pickers: We buy from independent shed hunters across Wyoming and neighboring states—never from game farms.
- Use the whole antler: off-cuts become craft material; larger sections become blanks or art—minimal waste.
How We Prepare Your Material
- Sorted by size & type: e.g., 1–2" tine tips vs. 3–4" tips, burrs, and blanks.
- Clean and ready: trimmed where appropriate to save you time.
- Clear labeling: weights and sizes shown so you know exactly what you’re buying.
